Introducing the Sungrow SBRHV
The worlds largest solar inverter brand takes on battery storage.
Overview
We have been installing Sungrow inverters since 2015 and they are now the worlds largest solar inverter manufacturer. Since 2019 they also sell more inverters in Australia than anyone else. This is largely due to them offering a great value product with leading warranties. The new Sungrow battery promises to offer more of the same.
The thing we like best about the Sungrow battery is that the inverter you pair with it, is also made by Sungrow. This means you have complete unity between the inverter and battery. Pairing a solar battery with a solar inverter from a different manufacturer has always caused a lot of issues in the past and can result in a finger pointing exercise should something not be working properly.
As the solar battery market continues to grow there are more and more battery options to choose from. Sungrow offer a good quality product that ticks almost all of the boxes the premium priced batteries do, but for a much more cost effective price.
