A solar carport is like a normal carport structure, but with solar panels built in to the roof. This gives you the dual benefit of something to protect your car from the sun and the rain, all the while generating electricity. If you have an electric vehicle, this could be used to “fuel” it; if not, it could be used by your house, or even be sold back to the grid. That’s right; it could actually pay for itself!

This solution is more suitable for carports and small parking areas rather than large car parking projects. For larger spaces that require under cover parking we would use PowerPunk or SCP solutions.
