Unless you have been living in a cave for the last twenty years, you have probably heard of Hyundai. They are a massive Korean brand name and extremely diversified. Best known for their reasonably priced cars, they are a Fortune 500 powerhouse and difficult to ignore.
Now, Hyundai Green Energy is the entity that manufacturers their solar panels, who are a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Sound complicated? It basically means the solar panel manufacturer is separated from the car manufacturer we all know so well. This is not uncommon for large diversified businesses who often have lots of separate entities and divisions.
Hyundai Green Energy manufacture a small but efficient range of solar panels. They are a Tier One manufacturer which means they are deemed financially viable by lenders who are financing large projects using their panels.
They also offer a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty, which is significantly longer than the industry standard 10-12-years for product and 25-years for performance. There are only a handful of panels who can offer warranties as strong as this, which make Hyundai well worth checking out if you see value in the long-term confidence manufacturers have in their products.
