At GI Energy we use more Fronius inverters than anything else. Not every installation calls for a Fronius inverter, and there are times when other brands are better suited. However, we are an advocate of their brand and believe they offer a great range of products.
In the last few years, Fronius have become the most desirable solar inverter in Australia. Installers love them. We love them. And all the customers we install them for love them.
If you need a basic string inverter for your home or business solar panels, it really is difficult to find a weak spot in the Austrian amour of Fronius. They are efficient, reliable and have long warranties with excellent support. They also have very good built in Wi-Fi monitoring with a user-friendly dashboard that is easy to navigate and find all the information you need.
Fronius are very often our first choice of inverter for homes and businesses who are seeking a reliable and efficient product. We do not, however, have a specific bias towards them and we never insist customers use them for their own solar energy project. Our goal is to be able to offer a range of options all our clients for their solar project. There are also lots of situations where a Fronius inverter is not the best choice. For example, if you have a heavily shaded roof you may need a micro inverter or individual panel optimiser installation, which Fronius do not offer. So, while Fronius are our most popular choice, there are other options to consider depending on your specific installation requirements, budget and needs.
So, although we confess, they are our favourite inverters, they may be not the best choice for you and your home solar or commercial solar project. Get in touch with one of our solar gurus and we can help with this decision.
