If you’ve been on our website over the last few weeks you may have noticed an additional link on our menu bar – Education. This will take you to our new Education Centre, the goal of which is to inform you about the ins and outs of solar, so you’re capable of making an informed decision and not being taken for a ride by a solar cowboy, and then make the most of your system once it’s installed and up and running.
As of launch we have three categories:
- Reviews: Learn our take on the different products in the solar industry. Through this you will understand why we champion the products we do.
- Technical: These articles can be more complex and in-depth, explaining key solar functionality and different solar technologies – electrical terminology, the photovoltaic effect, split cells, hot spots, and more. This will give you an understanding of how your system will work, and help you separate fact from salesperson fiction.
- FAQs: These are non-technical questions that we are often asked – probably the best things to read first. Short answers to all the common queries, from installation procedures to warranties to rebates and much, much more.
Over the coming weeks we will be adding more acticles and updating them as new information comes available, so keep checking back to see what’s new!
